Navigating challenges in life can leave one feeling exhausted and stressed. Anxiety, depression, and negative self-talk are common struggles that can leave one feeling alone and unsupported. Pathways Counseling is here for you.
I am Amy Amico, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing counseling to adolescents, adults and older adults in the Indianapolis area. I support clients as they navigate stages of life and issues around grief and loss, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, chronic illness, caregiving, and those on the journey of adoption and foster care. When appropriate, I use EMDR therapy for trauma and other mental health needs.
With a holistic and collaborative approach, I serve clients based on their readiness to change, focusing on making adjustments in the present while moving through issues from the past. We will explore how you operate in different environments and how these can contribute to or alleviate life’s challenges. Together we will identify specific treatment goals and monitor progress. I hope you will find me approachable, and you leave each session feeling as though you were sincerely heard and understood.
